A infographic is like a chart/picture/informational piece or picture. They are used to give you a understanding of something. They are full of data and information to inform one on something.

Instead of going to Homecoming,  spent the day with William. We watched Where the Wild Things Are and Chernobyl Diaries. My sister also had her boyfriend over and was playing games on the Xbox. Also my Mom put a star on Williams arm with Henna.

There is plenty of things you could change about this school, but if you go and change something even if it does make things better it might not be doing much. School is the way it is for a reason and you cant really fix things for the fact that were a bunch of teenagers and teenagers just tend to create problems.

My Favorite app on my phone would have to be Sound Cloud and Tumblr. Sound cloud because its like Pandora but not really and I have all my playlists on it. Tumblr is the other one because I mean its Tumblr. How could you possibly not love it, the kinds of things you find on there ca make your day and question things its just perfect.

Now that you've been in Emerging Technology for several weeks... what do you think? Do you think the web tools (Drive, Evernote, Bubbl, etc.) are helpful to you? Do you think they will be helpful throughout high school or even college? Explain

Google drive is a helpful tool for the reason being that I have many devices of different brands. I also manage to make them crash a lot so it makes it better to keep pictures so they don t get deleted. Drive will be very very helpful though out high school and college so I can accesses them anywhere and I wont lose things as much. It also saves automatically which I tend to forget to do. Another thing is I can save all of Shawn's selfies and not use up all my space on my phone.

Now that you are several weeks in to this class and have coded one (super small) website, what do you think? What are your thoughts on web design? Is it what you thought it would be? Is it better? Worse? What's your favorite part? What's your least favorite part? Explain.

Basic coding is easy and simple. When you start to add CSS and more complex things it gets harder to code. You have to be able to remember all the tags. Also if you mess up on letter then most of the code might not work.

What did you do this weekend? Share pictures if you have them!

This weekend I went to this Nature Park for my sisters school project. With us being Melvin's we ended up getting lost. I pushed my sister into this giant spider web, I also kept tripping over everything.  We also played I Spy with all the trees like in Brother Bear.

Also this weekend I hung out with Aaron and Oscar. Aaron spilled something everywhere at one point and was sticking his hand in it and was playing in it for some reason.. They stole my phone too and took this lovely picture. (Oscar left, Aaron right)

What is the importance of research? Why do you need to know how to research? What have you learned in high school about researching topics and finding quality resources? Have you had a helpful teacher that has taught you to research? Explain.

The importance of doing research is you cant talk about something that you know nothing about. If you don't know how to do proper research then you wont know if a source is credible or even true. You wont know how to sort it either. When researching you need to look at several different places to make sure that is a reliable fact.

I selected LGBT rights, I already know a lot about it. For example the problems of them getting married and the way they treated. How do you express your creativity? Explain

You express creativity by everything you wear, the way you might dance or by the little drawings on your math paper. Creativity is/can be express by everything you do because we all do things differently. I express my creativity by writing things and drawing or taking pictures. Along with  the way I dress. I air brush shirts with my mom sometimes too, over all almost everything I do can be creative because us Melvin's seem to always change the way things are to make it our own in a creative way.

This weekend I spent all of Friday sick with a migraine and my stomach hurt so much I couldn't move. I ended up just sleeping all day. On Saturday I was able to get up and eventually I went to Stanley to hang out with William for awhile before he went to go see a movie with his friend Makayla. On Sunday After William got off of work we went up to Stanley again to hang out and I stole his hat.

Yesterday I asked your to "think differently" and push yourself to be uncommon with your PSA project using Google Slides. Why do you think I asked you to do that? What is the point? Why not just use bullets and headers? Explain

 It was so we would make something that didn't look like just some boring old power point, it would have more emotion. If it just had bullets and headers then it wouldn't have any meaning to it. For a PSA to have a impact you have to make it personal for anyone who watches or sees it. If its not then they wont remember it or do anything about it and try to help

So far I have learn some basic things, for example how to set up a HTML document. I have also learned how to read it, along with setting up simple things like tags and links or inserting pictures. By the end of the semester I wanna be able to code faster and more easily. I want to be able to make a web site and format things to make things that others will look at me and ask how I did that.

Tell me all about your Labor Day weekend. What did you do? Include photos!

 

My Labor Day weekend was very crazy. First before our Tori managed to light her pants on fire. Friday routine Skate City plans, when one of my girlfriends decided to tag along and also decided we were best friends again. While Alea almost got hit by a car, Ben ran though the rain without a shirt, William and I got ditched by everyone else, also while everyone was going crazy with all this drama of who did this and who said this. Later that night Tori, Alea, and Sydney decided to sleep over and tried to pierce Alea's septum . Saturday William came over and got to meet my sister for the first time, then decided to just take a nap on my floor. But I ended waking him up by running around the house because I drank a 5 Hour Energy. Later that night While I was at My Aunts Birthday Party I got the bomb dropped on me that my Great Grandpa is getting married and she is moving in here soon with me. Sunday I planned on just sleeping in but at about mid day I heard someone walk in to my house then burst into my room. It was my ex best friend/ex girlfriend. I screamed and flung my self off my bed in the other direction and about out of my window. She was trying to hug me and be best friends again and was laying on me like we use to do. When they decided they were going to hide from Sydney in my closet, I just ended up getting up and leaving my house with them in there. Then on Monday I spent the After Noon with William, my boyfriend.
